List of Uniform Colors

At Saint Francis Medical Center a team of professionals will deliver excellent medical care and work behind the scene to support you and your family. Many of our staff members wear colored scrubs or uniforms which identify their job. This is helpful when you need assistance or answers to your questions. All employees wear Saint Francis Medical Center nametags with their picture and position.

Registered Nurses

Dark Blue – make this a color, not text

Nurses will work with you, your family and your doctor to coordinate your treatment plan.

Clinical Managers

Dark blue scrubs with white lab jackets

These registered nurses are responsible for coordinating nursing care on each floor.

Patient Care Assistants

Light Blue

PCAs help nurses with patient care


Red scrub tops and gray bottoms

Lab staff may draw blood or collect specimens for testing


Gray scrubs

Radiology staff perform x-rays, CT scans, MRI and other exams.

Respiratory Therapy/Pulmonary Care

Purple scrubs

Respiratory therapists may see patient who are having breathing or lung problems or need oxygen.


Black scrubs

Cardiolgy staff may perform tests or treatments on your heart.

Environmental Services

Burgundy scrub tops

Our housekeeping staff keep your room and other hospital areas clean.


Brown shirts

Maintenance staff make sure the facility systems and equipment is working properly.

Pharmacy Techs

Sage green scrubs

Pharmacy techs deliver medications to the patient care areas and check the supplies in the patient rooms.

Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists or Speech Therapists

Physical therapy or occupational therapy can help patients gain mobility, improve daily life skills. Speech therapy is often helpful for patients who have difficulty speaking or swallowing. The therapists help you do exercises and other activities to improve your strength and function.
